Following 28 years running a Family Construction Business the current Management branched out and started Boss (D&B) LTD in January 1998.

As in previous years the new company carries on to specialize in the Design & Build sector of all types of Commercial Developments, retaining many existing Clients and more importantly acquiring new and Well respected Blue Chip Businesses.

We continue to have a great working relationship with these businesses, carrying out repeat Business and being introduced and recommended to their Partners and Associates in other Companies.

As a main contractor the directors believe Boss (D&B) Ltd is unique in its approach. Being initially involved in the design side of the projects we don’t just see the design and build name as a contractual tool. Contracts are personally supervised with Boss adopting a strict policy not to overtrade.

 

The directors believe that while company growth is vital it is equally important to continue with their proven methods maintaining quality and completing contracts on budget and programme. High quality developments tailored for the clients exacting design standards delivered on a very tight budget and within an even tighter programme. Converting the planning scheme into reality by the swift production of large amount of first time right information. Boss (D&B) Ltd maintain a level headed control over the developments and avoid over embellishment.

MANAGING DIRECTOR

The visionary behind Boss, Stuart has over 48 years of experience with running his own business in the construction world and gained a wealth of experience unrivaled by many others.

HAZEL MEDD

FINANCIAL DIRECTOR

The real boss!! Hazel has worked alongside Stuart straight from the start and has a vast knowledge of accounting and dealing with the daily finances in the company.

NICK MEDD

DIRECTOR

Been involved with Boss since the start of the company and after learning the ropes on site, he now deals with the tendering of projects, day to day running of each development and the companies Health & Safety.

IAN CHALLENGER

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Worked for Stuart for 32 years and deals with the day to day running of the office, dealing with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers. He's the man to answer any questions or queries.

MARK GATENBY

CONSTRUCTION DIRECTOR

Worked for Stuart for the last 34 years, he now deals with the sub-contractors and daily activities on site, keeping the quality of workmanship to the level that Stuart and the company strive for.

ROBERT CORRIGAN

SITE SUPERVISOR

Robert or "Bert" to the Boss team has an integral part in supervising the site logistics 24/7. This guy lives and breathes construction so much so he lives on site 7 days a week!

 

LIAM COOPER

TRAINEE SITE MANAGER

Our latest member of the team, Liam already has a great CV to his name. With the knowledge from the guys at Boss, he will soon become one of our site managers.
